  8. Again my apologies for not writing last night for the 0 people that actually read what I write on my tumblr. I have no excuses for that but just that I wanted to go to sleep after that long night. Nothing really big happened last night except for the fact that me and EaSy had the whole ride from Corpus to Houston to talk about serious shit after a week of not seeing him. There’s a lot of opportunities floating around that we talked about and talked about plans to achieve them which I put in effect today.

ASF has a secret group on facebook where we can discuss anything from opportunities to sharing pics and lulz. I broke up that group bc it was hard to discuss serious ideas and plans without every one jumping in and taking shits on each other. So I started a second secret group used only for serious subjects. And its going awesome. I really am fulfilling some the responsibilities I was meant to do. ASF is getting more organized bc of me. I just hope people realize the good I can do for the group. With some simple organizing, it should be a lot easier to take the next big steps.

But for now, I still have a day job that helps me pay for all the shit we do and need. So with that said I’m gonna hit the hay since I have to wake up at 5:20 a.m. for the opening shift…

For now, have a goodnight. I’ll see you in the early morning.

  9. Ok so I’m writing from my cell phone today bc I have no wifi in my hotel room. Which btw, what year are we in where wifi doesn’t exist in some hotels? I dunno.. Anyways, I was supposed to write yesterday but honestly, I forgot. I’m not really what you would consider a “blogger” but writing every day on my tumblr has been a goal of mine for a while now. So with that statement, here goes it.
Yesterday was so exhausting for me.. Work then golf is killer to ones stamina, and when you add Texas heat and humidity to the equation, the situation worsens exponentially. One good thing that came out of yesterday is that my golf skills are getting a lot better. If you know anything about golf, I can add the slight draw to the ball, which takes quite a bit of practice and precision to do. Sorry, I’m kinda flattering myself now haha.
Today however I woke up at 5:20… A.M. To get some work done of course. After a long time of doing my shit I packed up my bags, grabbed my computer (expecting high speed wifi at my hotel) and took the car out to try to beat traffic out of Houston. And so I did, and made my way down to Corpus for an Outsiders show (the guys I manage [you should know that by now I you follow my blog]) It’s always awesome coming down to Corpus, but it’s even better when the Art Walk goes down. The Art Walk is literally most of downtown Corpus riddled with live street music, live graffiti art, and comedic plays. I love it, it’s my confirmation that humanity is still alive. I really wish I could live here… In a condo or something. Every day here inspires me to work on my art. Any ways, show went great! I’ll share some pictures tomorrow when I get home and connect to my wifi network.
I really wish y’all could experience what I’m living through. Unfortunately tho none of you will. You gotta sacrifice your life to do what we are doing, and those who sacrifice are the only ones that’s will reap the rewards. Man, y’all have no idea how much I’ve sacrificed. I could be in a badass condo if I didn’t have to pay for hotel rooms, CDs, promotional shit, live music equip, studio equip.. The list goes on. But what I do makes me happy, and I really hope that all of you with dreams and goals follow them and make them happen. But remember that you must make sacrifices, because the treasures at the end of a long road will be much more appreciated when you receive them. I’m happy where I stand… sit and lay, even if the places I end up in at the end of the night don’t have wifi.

That is all for tonight, see yall in the morning

  10. Today I got a lot of shit done. Well, two things. I started building Silantro Bleu’s website which you can find here: SilantroBleu.com It is still a work in progress so if y’all have any tips or editing mistakes I should fix let me know. I could’ve worked on the business website but its part of a huge monster thats gonna take weeks to map out. Plus, ASF asked me to make them a site. Which will also take time planning. Danm, I’m fucking busy… anyways. Frank Ocean, damn. I’m glad he did what he did. He really is moving the industry forward. As a matter of fact, the whole OF crew is, and has for the past couple of years. I’m proud they support the gay movement in such a belligerent fashion lol.

Oh, I also swagged myself out today. Bought me some fresh new tees, denim washed khakis, and some Hawkings McGill shit. And watched some fireworks too.

God bless the USA. (I wouldn’t normally say that but, its time for me to grow up)

For now, have a goodnight. I’ll see you in the early morning.

  11. I’m gonna try to start blogging everyday here on FYNEST as many of you will soon know me. Even though, this is my companie’s blog it will also be mine. This will be a blog were you can get in the head of J, find out what is new with FYNEST, and to be updated with everything that happens with ASF and Silantro Bleu (the group and artist I manage).

    So without further ado..

Today I was offered to sub-manage ASF. Although I was exited about the offer I cannot give up the time for Silantro Bleu to manage a whole collective. So that explains why I “sub-manage” ASF. For all of y’all that don’t know what ASF is I’ll give you a little insight. I am sure y’all have heard of the OFWGKTA, A$AP, TDE collectives right? We’ll ASF is similar with a different story. ASF was built from the ground up by Kevin Abstract, a rapper/singer/songwriter from Corpus Christi, TX. After meeting a couple producers and rappers looking for promotion on Kanyetothe.com he slowly built his group which is now a huge powerhouse of talented under 20 somethings. For about a year and a half I have managed Kevin Abstract and Silantro Bleu together as the Outsiders. But now as they split up I manage them seperately…. so yeah, sorry if this is getting confusing.

So with this new chapter comes amazing opportunities. 1st we linked up with a high class manager who is getting ASF to open up for Big Krit October 3rd in St. Louis. This is a big deal for us. I’ve also gotten with my connections and we now have investors lined up to help me with the record label. All this mixed with getting Earmilk.com hungry for anything we drop in the future is beyond what we expected. And all this happened in one week. We are blessed to have all these opportunities at our door, but we also owe it to our hard work. Let me repeat that, hard work. If it wasn’t for everyone in the group pushing, pooling their connections, and nurturing their craft, we’d be in the same spot as we were two years ago when we started.

So look out for us in the future. ASF is the new collective on the rise, and you’ll hear about me in the press pretty soon too.

For now, have a goodnight. I’ll see you in the early morning.
